Carson Palmer on Cardinals’ 2-0 start, Larry Fitzgerald

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer joined the show to talk about their hot start and more. Here are some of his comments:

— Palmer said older players like him need until Thursday afternoon to really start feeling like he recovered from the game.

— Palmer said Larry Fitzgerald doesn’t care if people overlook him. “He’s so focused on winning and getting a Super Bowl ring,” Palmer said.

— Palmer said Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed were the toughest guys to go up against — he had to always know where they were.

— Palmer thinks the Cardinals are a Super Bowl-caliber team – they have confidence and belief in each other.

— Palmer said Larry Fitzgerald is definitely a Hall-of-Famer but that the Cardinals WR still has a lot of tread left in the tires at age 32.
