Steve Spurrier explains why he left in the middle of the season
Former South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier joined the show to talk about why he stepped down during the middle of the season. Spurrier said he’s not the best coach for the team today and he wants to give his staff the chance to turn it around this season. He did admit if they were 4-2, he may have approached it differently. Spurrier said he is strongly considering joining ESPN’s GameDay this weekend. He wouldn’t commit to a job in the media, but said he definitely “wanted to do something.”
