Calais Campbell on avoiding Carson Palmer at practice, helping QBs up
Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell joined the show to talk about his season and more.
Campbell said he’s never gotten close to quarterback Carson Palmer, because he knows he’d get yelled at in practice. “I’ve seen guys get cut for getting too close and grazing him,” Campbell said. “Get off the field and someone else is coming in the next day.”
Dan asked Campbell if he ever helps pick up a quarterback. Apparently only very good quarterbacks. “If you’re a Hall of Famer,” Campbell said, “it’s natural to help you up.”
