Doug O’Neill: Difficult to give horse Sportsman of Year
Trainer Doug O’Neill (I’ll Have Another) joined the show to talk about SI’s choice of Serena Williams over horse American Pharoah. O’Neill said he would have trouble voting for the horse over Steph Curry. But O’Neill did say that the horse is far more important than the trainer or jockey in winning at that level.
