Rex Chapman explains how he became addicted to pain-killers
Former Kentucky star Rex Chapman joined the show to talk about recovering from pill addiction after he was arrested for shoplifting in 2014.
“It did. My last three years in the NBA. I feel like I came by it honestly. I’ve never been a guy who parties. …. I had seven surgeries in my last four years. I was trying to continue to play and play at a high level. … It was kind of the culture in the NBA at the time.”
Dan asked Chapman what he’s doing now. “I’m trying to do what’s right,” Chapman said. “And try to stay busy.”
