Rick Neuheisel says Myles Jack proves players should be able to pull out of Draft

Dan asked CBS’ Rick Neuheisel about former UCLA Bruin LB Myles Jack falling in the Draft. Here are Neuheisel’s remarks:

“Myles Jack. I mean Laremy Tunsil made the bed that he’s in right. Myles Jack, this is just really really sad. And this gets back to my request of the NCAA and Pro Football that there be an opportunity for people to take their names out of the hat and go back to college. You know, all the risk shouldn’t be on kids. I assume that Myles Jack will go quickly today. And I’m assuming that there is an insurance policy that will protect him from this free fall. But when the news of his knee and the ticking time bomb quote on quote, you knew it was going to be damaging. You didn’t realize he would fall all the way out of the first round. Because just on talent, he’s a top-five guy.”
