Tom Verducci: Kershaw on greatest pitching roll ever
Sports Illustrated’s Tom Verducci had high praise for Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw. “I think he’s on the greatest pitching roll of all time,” Verducci said. “I say that, because, I’m not going to count Walter Johnson. In terms of Pedro [Martinez], Sandy Koufax … it’s the volume and the strike-out-to-walk ratio. His career ERA keeps getting lower. It’s not supposed to happen that way.”
