Landon Timothy Donovan (born March 4, 1982) is an American retired professional soccer player. Widely considered to be the best male player to ever come out of the United States, he played as a withdrawn forward and winger for the LA Galaxy, Bayer Leverkusen, San Jose Earthquakes, Bayern Munich, and Everton. He is also a former captain of the United States men’s national team.
