Matt Barkley talks about decision to stay at USC

USC quarterback Matt Barkley joined the show to talk about his decision to forego the draft last season and more.

Barkley said that he may not have come back to USC if the Trojans were not eligible for bowls this year. But he said that he hasn’t had any regrets about staying.

Dan asked Barkley what team does he think would have taken him if he went into the draft Barkley said maybe Minnesota, who picked No. 4 overall. Barkley also mentioned the Browns and the Dolphins. He also said that he is confident he could have been the second quarterback taken over Robert Griffin III.

“I had confidence that I was going to go high,” Barkley said. “It wasn’t really a question of that as to why I came back.”

Dan asked his favorite celebrity run-in. He went with Will Ferrell, but also told a great story about running into Metta World Peace.
