Grant Hill explains why he joined Clippers

Grant Hill joined guest host Bonnie Bernstein to talk about why he joined the Los Angeles Clippers and more.

“I just felt like wow, this is an exciting time,” Hill said, noting all the talent in Los Angeles. “They took a big step last year.”

Hill talked about going to Germany to get blood-spinning therapy, like Kobe Bryant. He said he was feeling good before he went to get it done, so he’s not sure what impact it had, although he thinks it’s been positive.

Hill told a funny story about the Olympics. He said the leading scorer always had to take a drug test, and that took hours, so no one wanted to do it. He said you’d never seen guys be as unselfish.

Bonnie asked Hill why Duke assistants Chris Collins and Steve Wojciechowski haven’t left, because they seem ready to be head coaches. Hill said that they get to learn from the master, and don’t underestimate their opportunity to coach internationally.
