Adam Greenberg talks about getting another MLB at-bat

Adam Greenberg joined the show to talk about getting an at-bat for the Marlins after being hit in the head on his first at-bat seven years ago. He struck out against the Mets’ R.A. Dickey.

“It was everything I would have dreamed it was with the exception of not getting a hit,” Greenberg said.

Greenberg said Dickey is “an artist” and he is hard to get a hit off. “I wanted to be upset … but I couldn’t,” Greenberg said. “All my teammates are high-fiving me and I’m like, I just struck out.”

Greenberg said he did this because he wants a Spring Training invite. “The only reason I agreed to any of this was to draw attention to me as a ballplayer … not as a sideshow or a circus act,” Greenberg said.
