Notre Dame’s Kelly would prefer 8-team playoff
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly joined the show to talk about the upcoming season and more.
Kelly said he doesn’t know how good his team is, but is optimistic and thinks Everett Golson could immediately produce.
Dan asked Kelly about the four-team playoff. He said that he came up through lower divisions with a playoff and he’s all for it. “Maybe I can be the one outlier who says four’s not enough,” Kelly said. “With five power conferences, somebody is going to be left out. I think four’s a great start. I don’t think it’s enough.”
Kelly says he’s four eight teams with some homefield advantage situations.
