Bob Nightengale: Jeter an icon
USA Today’s Bob Nightengale joined the show to talk about Derek Jeter’s final game at Yankee Stadium. Bob said there wasn’t quite cheering in the press box, but lots of smiles.
Dan asked what he thought of Keith Olbermanns comments that Jeter was overrated. Im the complete opposite, Nightengale said. This guys an icon. For him to be single in New York and never one ounce of trouble or innuendo. Ive never heard one player say a disparaging thing about this guy in my life.
