FIND A STATION Dan Patrick Show
WEDNESDAY: Aaron Rodgers

Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly joined the show to talk about what happened in L.A. and what’s next in his career.

Mattingly said he talked to the Marlins, but he’s not sure where that will go. Mattingly did say he thinks he would look good in teal.

Mattingly confirmed what the Dodgers said – this was truly a mutual decision for him to leave the team: “As we kept talking, it just seemed like it was the clear path. … It is mutual.”

Mattingly said there was a lot of distraction surrounding his situation and the front office has their own way of doing things.

Mattingly said the Dodgers’ huge payroll wasn’t what it seemed – a lot of it wasn’t actually being spent on the field.
