Abby Wambach explains why she’s retiring
U.S. soccer star Abby Wambach joined the show to talk her decision to retire in December. Wambach said she told her wife after the World Cup that she was thinking about doing this. Now she’s really looking forward to celebrating with her friends and family in the coming months.
She also commented on meeting President Obama and spending time with him earlier this week: “Not only does he love sports. He really understands women’s sports and how impactful they can be.”
