Metta World Peace on expectations with Lakers, Kobe, playing in China

Lakers forward Metta World Peace joined the show to talk about where he fits on this team and to look back at different parts of his career.

Dan asked his role on this team. “I don’t look as my role in life,” World Peace said. “I just like to enjoy life. I like to just contribute to life overall.”

World Peace said he used to go at it with Kobe Bryant. In part because Kobe could sense when practice was getting dull and would spice it up. But World Peace said they’re too old to fight these days.

World Peace had very interesting comments on former Laker Adam Morrison. He said that Morrison, a former high draft pick, could have been a star if he stayed healthy. He said Morrison was one of the great practice trash talkers of all time.

He also talked about going to China when he was younger and how much they appreciated having a star in their prime.
