NBC Football Night in America’s Tony Dungy joined the show to talk about the big storylines in the NFL. ‘s tHere are some of Dungy’s takes:
— Dungy says it’s not clear Brock Osweiler is the answer in Denver: “Let’s slow down the Brock Osweiler is going to lead the Broncos to the Super Bowl train.” He said he may win the regular season, but the playoffs are different.
— Dungy compares Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr.: “Most guys would rather see Julio. Beckham has a burst… better running after the catch.”
— Dungy says Ron Rivera has easier job with his undefeated Panthers than he did with the Colts in 2005. They were 13-0 and had three weeks to debate benching Peyton.
— Dungy said that the Panthers have to be very concerned about risking a Cam Newton injury in a game they don’t need to win.
