Dan Marino says he would kill it in today’s game

Hall of Famer Dan Marino joined the show to talk about the Super Bowl and more. Marino talked about how the position of quarterback has evolved. He said he didn’t think about the numbers during his incredible 48-TD season in the early 1980s — they were trying to win the games.

Dan asked Marino how many TDs he could throw in today’s game. “Probably over 50,” Marino said. “They stay in the end today. Coach [Don] Shula took us out of the game.” He said the position is still similar, but they call a lot more at the line.
