Redick comments on Durant, Rose, anti-gay slurs in NBA

Orlando Magic guard J.J. Redick joined the show to talk about the NBA playoffs and the Draft.

Redick talked about how to slow down Kevin Durant. He said that the Magic would blitz him with multiple players, but there was no sure-fire way to shut him down.

Redick also talked about how hard it is to cover Derrick Rose. He said he’s one of the hardest guys to stay in front of, and noted he’s improved his jump shot.

Redick also talked about fans trash-talking. He said the most upset he ever got was when people talked about family. Redick, however, said that he hasn’t snapped. “There’s so much anger, but as athletes, we have to keep our cool,” Redick said.

Redick said players know about Kobe’s fine. “There’s become an awareness on this issue,” Redick said.
