Michael Wilbon looks back at the origins of Pardon the Interruption

Michael Wilbon joined the show to talk about the 10-year anniversary of Pardon the Interruption.

Wilbon said he thought by the third week that PTI was going to work. He immediately liked Tony, even though they were different.

Wilbon said that the show wasn’t supposed to be like Crossfire. They originally wanted it to be more like Siskel and Ebert, which Wilbon knew well because of the Chicago connection.

Wilbon was talking about how happy he is with how his career unfolded, although he’s not sure he’ll be back on NBA duty.
