Alabama RB Trent Richardson says he’s in no rush to get to the NFL

Alabama running back Trent Richardson joined the show to talk about the big game against LSU on Saturday.

Richardson said he can’t wait to get to the game and go at it with that LSU defense.

Richardson hinted he’s leaning toward staying in college but is putting off really thinking about it.  “I have no reason to go anywhere right now,” Richardson said. “I’m not worried about getting to the League. The League’s not going anywhere.”

Richardson also said he isn’t thinking about the Heisman. “I don’t try to pay attention to it,” Richardson said. He’d actually vote for his defensive guys if he could.

On a side note, Richardson talked about how strong he is.  “I did 475 easy and they wouldn’t let me go up from there,” Richardson said.
