Brady Hoke comments on Urban Meyer hire, and issues at Big Ten rivals

Michigan coach Brady Hoke joined the show to talk about his season and some of the changes happening around the Big Ten.

Dan asked Hoke his reaction to Ohio State hiring Urban Meyer. “Not good,” Hoak said. Hoke said he knows Meyer well and it will be fun, but this will be challenging.

Dan asked Hoke if he would ever mention the problems at Ohio State and Penn State to gain a recruiting edge. “We’ve never talked about any of those things, nor will we,” Hoke said. “We have so many great things to talk about here at Michigan.”

Hoke talked about Denard Robinson’s development. Hoke said that he’s been more patient and doing a better job making multiple reads. Then when he does run, he’s more decisive about it.

Hoke talked about his athletic past. “When I was coming out of high school if they had MMA,” Hoke said, “I might have gone that route.”
