Joe Montana compares his neck injury, talks about Brady’s legacy

Hall of Famer Joe Montana joined the show to talk about the Super Bowl matchup and more.

Montana said that he had a similar surgery to the one Peyton Manning had on his neck. Dan asked if he can imagine playing again after that. Montana said yes, “we’re pretty stupid as athletes.” Montana said that there’s a fine line between playing and not playing, but everybody leans toward playing.

Montana said he’s seen a lot of Andrew Luck at Stanford. He said he thinks he has the skills to do well in the NFL.

Montana didn’t get too into what a fourth Super Bowl ring would mean for Tom Brady, because he thinks that Brady will be back to this game.
