Plaxico Burress talks about where he may play next season

Free agent receiver Plaxico Burress joined the show to talk about his future.

Burress said that Jets coach Rex Ryan told him he wanted him back in New York. But Burress acknowledged “it’s a business” and you never know what’s going to happen.

Burress said Philadelphia would be a “beautiful place to play.” But it’s not the only place he would go to.

Burress said he’s know Michael Vick since junior high and the Eagles have other great weapons on offense. He thinks they could help him in the red zone.

Burress said that the Jets and Eagles are very different teams. The Jets run the ball and the Eagles pass. He called the Eagles “the Philly Flash” because of how fast they get up and down the field.

Dan asked Burress if he ever had any issues with Mark Sanchez. “I didn’t have any problems with him at all,” Burress said.

Burress thinks Sanchez will improve. “Mark will play better,” Burress said. “I know he’s training hard.”

Burress said he has not animosity toward the Giants because they did want to bring him back last season. He doesn’t know one way or the other whether Eli Manning supported the move.
