Orange County-Register Lakers reporter Kevin Ding joined the show to talk about the loss to the Thunder.

Ding said that Pau Gasol seems to be taking the most grief. Ding said that Gasol was in a tough spot because he didn’t have an exact role.”That’s one of the Lakers problems,” Ding said. “He’s the guy that doesn’t fit. They knew that obviously because they tried to trade for Chris Paul.”

Ding said that he doesn’t think they’re committed to trying to make Gasol and Andrew Bynum work together. Ding said that they want to trade him, but it’s difficult because they’re trying to shed salary. “It’s such a pivotal move,” Ding said.

Dan asked Ding if Kobe has won his last title. “If you put a gun to my head,” Ding said, “I’d have to say yes.”

Ding said that they need to pull something out of their hat in the offseason — something like picking up Kevin Garnett.

Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffI agree w/ this. Burfict's hit was illegal, dangerous and a poor decision. But it happens all the time. https://t.co/7qt6FyRDZY14 mins ago
