David Robinson shares behind-scenes stories from Dream Team

Hall of Famer David Robinson joined the show to talk about the Dream Team documentary and more.

Robinson commented on how intense the basketball was at practice. “Everyone on that floor was not just competitive, but the ultimate professional as well,” Robinson said.

Robinson said he didn’t have a feeling one way or the other about Isiah Thomas being on the Dream Team and he didn’t hear one way or the other about it when it was going on.

Robinson did confirm that Clyde Drexler showed up to practice with two left shoes.

Robinson shared his admiration for LeBron James and how well he’s played this postseaosn. But he doesn’t think LeBron is there with Michael Jordan. Then again, Robinson said no one is at Jordan’s level, including Kobe right now — maybe time will change that.

Dan asked Robinson whose career he would want moving forward — LeBron or Kevin Durant. He said he thinks the Thunder will win the series and therefore Durant.
