Rich Eisen on Peyton Manning's legacy, coaching vacancies

NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about last night’s Broncos-Raiders game and the upcoming games this weekend.

Eisen said he’s all in on Peyton Manning. “I believe you and I will be telling grandkids one day that we saw one of the best of all time,” Eisen said. “What he has done is install the Indianapolis Colts over the last decade and a half in Denver.”

Eisen weighed in on the different coaching vacancies and argued Dallas is still the best spot. He thinks that owner Jerry Jones is willing to pay a lot of money. But he doesn’t think there’s an opening that will lure a big fish like Jon Gruden, unless he thinks there’s a QB he absolutely loves out there that he could land with. Eisen said maybe a team like Carolina with Cam Newton.

Eisen also weighed in on Bob Costas’ halftime take on gun control on Sunday Night Football. Eisen said that he doesn’t have a problem with talking about social and political issues as long as it was born out of something in the sports world.
