FIND A STATION Dan Patrick Show
Monday: Daytona 500 winner, Kevin Frazier, Reggie Miller

Memphis Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins joined the show to talk about the upcoming series against the Spurs.

Hollins talked about how important it was to be a team in the playoffs. “The Miami Heat last year was the best team,” Hollins said. “Nobody could out-team them.”

Hollins also weighed in on how the Spurs have changed through the years and become more perimeter-oriented. “Their style has shifted in the last couple of years, without dominating inside with [Tim] Duncan,” Hollins said.

Hollins explained why he doesn’t have a long-term contract extension as well. A new ownership group came in that didn’t know him.
