San Diego Chargers running back Danny Woodhead joined the show to talk about their upcoming game against Cincinnati and more.
Dan asked if fans recognize him on the street. Woodhead said that he does more than he thought. “If I look at myself in the mirror in the morning,” Woodhead said, “I don’t immediately think NFL football player. That’s not the first thing that comes to mind.”
Woodhead said when he first got into the League, people thought he was a kicker.
Woodhead commented on the win over Kansas City in Week 17. He said he hasn’t seen video of the controversial non-fumble call on Eric Weddle.
Dan asked if getting cut by the Jets hurt. “It was definitely a low point in my football career,” Woodhead said. “But I was able to sign with the Patriots pretty quickly.”
