Former South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney joined the show to talk about getting ready for the NFL Draft and where he may go.
“I should be the No. 1 pick taken in the draft, overall,” Clowney said.
Clowney said he didn’t think about injuries during last season. He said he isn’t planning on having surgery after the Combine on bone spurs in his foot, unless teams ask him to. He said it’s more likely he’d get surgery after next season.
Clowney just came up from a bench press workout. He said he can do 23 reps of bench press now, but he thinks he can get up to 25 by the Combine. Clowney said that he will fully participate in the Combine. He said he’s hoping for a 4.4 40, but isn’t sure that will happen.
