Happy Memorial Day!

Berkshire-Hathaway president Warren Buffett joined the show to talk about his insurance policy on Quicken Loans’ $1 billion bracket.

“I would have preferred to see it go quite a bit longer,” Buffett said. “Not all the way, but a little bit longer.”

Buffett would like to do it again, but would actually like to make it easier.  Buffett said that his bracket is busted because of Creighton.

Buffett said that he would have been fine paying out $1 billion. They paid out $3 billion for Hurrican Katrina.

Dan asked if he made $1 billion last week. Buffett didn’t exactly deny it, but said it didn’t really matter because the charities will get it. “I’ll have hamburgers and a Coke no matter what happens,” Buffett said.
