New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire joined the show to talk about Donald Sterling, the Knicks and much more.

Stoudemire weighed in on the NBA banning Sterling for life. “I think the game of basketball is bigger than this one particular topic,” Stoudemire said. “You want to protect that brand.”

Stoudemire said he’s met with Phil Jackson and so far, it’s been all good. He’s confident that Jackson will do a great job. Dan asked about the triangle. Stoudemire thinks that having a varied offensive game will help him.

Dan asked Stoudemire if he’s talked to Carmmelo Anthony. Stoudemire said no. “It’s kind of a touchy situation right now,” Stoudemire said. “I stay out of it.”
