Teddy Bridgewater didn’t want to go to Browns

Minnesota Vikings rookie Teddy Bridgewater joined the show to talk about being drafted and how he dealt with the criticism he received over the last couple of months.

Dan asked if he was feeling down as the first round went along. “There was never a moment I got down,” Bridgewater said.

Bridgewater said he didn’t want to go to the Browns. “I told my agent that’s not the place I wanted to be,” Bridgewater said. He noted that Minnesota felt more like a family environment for him.

Bridgewater said he tries not to dwell on his poor Pro Day performance. “I never go back to the Pro Day,” said Bridgewater, “because it’s something I can’t fix.”

Bridgewater talked about how he celebrated after being drafted. I went back to the hotel and went right to sleep,” Bridgewater said. “It was a long night.”
