Tony Dungy picks both home teams in conference title games
NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined the show to break down the conference title games.
Dungy hopes that if Peyton Manning wins this year, he’ll go out on top and retire.
“Carson Palmer has to have a great game for Arizona to win,” Dungy said. He said the Panthers can beat you in other ways.
Dan asked if there’s a flaw with Cam Newton, what is it. Dungy said at times he can be inaccurate, but he usually hits the big play.
Here are Dungy’s picks:
— “I’m picking Denver,” Dungy said. “It’s hard to win those games on the road. …. It’s going to be a tight game and low scoring.”
— He also likes Carolina because of homefield advantage. “I like Carolina,” Dungy said. “I think Arizona has a better team. …. In a neutral site, Arizona would win six out of 10.”
